Message from the President of Arcadia Host Lions, George Sanders:
As I write this message, I reflect on my life’s achievements. These stand for caring, love, and respect for all of my friends & fellow human beings.

I try to live by these rules, even though it’s very difficult and trying sometimes.

These values are carried into Lionism not only by me, but by my fellow club members. We help those who are less fortunate than we are, those who need our help to feel like they are part of our society. This we achieve by all working together as a club, whether large or small without asking ourselves “what’s in it for me”. That comes to us via making lifelong friendships, and through the satisfaction we receive. Peace within ourselves by serving.

The service we provide to our community, to the needy children and all others in need are not empty words. Our deeds speak for all Lions in my club. By doing the best to achieve our goal “We Serve”.
