The Arcadia Lions Club is proud to offer a wide spectrum of community-oriented services that address local needs and foster a vibrant spirit in Arcadia, Ohio. From health initiatives to facility management, our efforts are driven by the dedication and compassion of our volunteers.
In partnership with local schools, the Arcadia Lions Club provides free vision screenings during kindergarten registration. Early intervention in vision health is critical for educational success, and our members are trained to deliver accurate, confidential screenings for every entering child. This service seeks to remove barriers to learning and ensure each student gets the support they deserve.
Our eyeglass recycling initiative collects gently used glasses for redistribution to individuals in need. Donors may drop off eyeglasses at the community building using the secure key drop box or arrange a pickup with a club member. Every donated pair can restore sight and opportunity for someone less fortunate.
The Arcadia Lions Club is a visible presence at important school occasions, including the celebrated "Meet the Teams" night, Homecoming, Prom, school testing events, and athletic banquets. Our engagement demonstrates unwavering support for area youth and offers opportunities to connect with families and educators.
As stewards of Arcadia Lions Community Park and the baseball/softball fields, our club works year-round to maintain safe, attractive, and accessible recreational spaces. The park, located across from the school, is utilized by the Arcadia Summer Youth Program and the school's varsity teams. Amenities include shelter houses, a playground, tables, and picnic areas perfect for informal gatherings and youth activities.
The Arcadia Lions Community Building has been fully renovated for comfort and flexibility. With a capacity for 175 guests and available for rental 8am to midnight, it’s ideal for school events, reunions, community gatherings, and private celebrations. Features include:
Rental Rates: $350 (Friday–Sunday), $225 (Monday–Thursday). Rent the night before your event for decorating (based on availability) for $150. A refundable $200 deposit is collected at key pickup.
